Desert Star Playhouse: “Murder on the Frontrunner Express”

Running from March 24 to June 4, “Murder on the Frontrunner Express” will be playing at the Desert Star Playhouse Theater.

Located at 4861 South State St. in Murray, the Desert Star Playhouse produces family-friendly musical comedies. Their 2016 season continues with a comedic murder mystery about a train inspector, Jacques Clueless, aboard the Frontrunner Express when crew members begin dying and Clueless must find the murderer.

The play was written by Ed Farnsworth (performing as Inspector Clueless) and directed by Scott Holman. Show times run Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m., Friday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Saturday at 11:30 a.m., 2:30, 6 and 8:30 p.m. 

The event will also include musical olios following the show, a signature at Desert Star Playhouse, featuring some popular television songs during the “Don’t Touch that Remote Contr-Olio.”
