Grant Elementary Fundraiser

Acclaimed anthropologist & mind reader Paul Draper travels the world in search of mind-bending mysteries and performs them live in “Mysteries of the Mind” to help raise money for Grant Elementary Performance April 17th at the Murray High School Theater Salt Lake City, UT, March 24, 2015 – “Mysteries of the Mind” Starring Paul Draper will be presented at Murray High School Auditorium (5440 S State St, Murray, Utah) Friday, April 17, 2015. At 7:30 PM Price: Adult $8 / Children $5 Money raised will go toward creating a math resource library at Grant Elementary School, benefitting students in grades K-6. “Mysteries of the Mind” is an interactive show where audience members become the stars of the evening. Throughout this unique show Draper tells people what they are thinking and predicts volunteers’ actions and decisions before they make them. He reveals techniques used to read thoughts, how to tell when people are lying and the secrets to having a super-human memory. Writer Rick Lax of the Las Vegas Weekly recently wrote of Draper’s show, “If you’ve got an embarrassing secret, you might want to bring a tin-foil hat.” Highlights of the show include bending steel using only the power of thought; and after blindfolding himself completely with metal, duct tape and cloth the show builds to a crescendo as he works his way through the room describing images and objects that audience members have provided, all with x-ray accuracy. Dena Snyder, the voice of Master Shake in Aqua Teen Hunger Force raved, “I have seen magic many times, but I have never had my mind blown until I met Paul Draper!” Draper’s ability to read minds is part of a branch of magic called mentalism that he has honed through thousands of performances. For many years he has been performing for the Las Vegas elite and at corporate events around the globe – representing some of the worlds largest casinos and Fortune 500 companies. He is a regular contributor to books, magazines and documentaries on belief, the mind, and consciousness. Get tickets online at or at Grant Elementary School (662 Bulldog Cir, Murray, Ut)
