Heritage Center news
Upcoming events at the Heritage Senior Center, 10 East 6150 South. Phone 801-264-2635 for more information. The Heritage Center is a 55-plus recreation center for people who like to stay active, learn, get services, go places, stay healthy, play, volunteer, meet people, enjoy and more.
The Heritage Center held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Dec. 21, 2011 for the new entrance project designed by Dana Meier, DM Associates and built by TOPP Construction. The project was built using Community Development Block Grant money plus $45,000 in donations from Heritage Center participants, friends and businesses. The Center would like to thank everyone who donated to the project and helped make it a reality. The entrance will provide a drop-off area for those who would like to avoid the snow and ice, increased lobby space and a much needed facelift to the 31-year-old building.
