Murray Park is the #6 seed in the City Journals' Park Madness tournament. 

Murray Park almost feels like a microcosm of a city itself. Aside from your regular park amenities like playgrounds, grassy fields and pavilions, the park includes (or is neighbor to) an amphitheater, a pool, a grill, an elementary school, a Boys and Girls Club, an ice rink, a recreation center and an arboretum. Add to that the scenic Little Cottonwood Creek which winds its way through the park and it’s not hard to see why Murray Park is a favorite for people across the valley.
