The 2021 Summit will be a virtual event for identified mental health leaders and stakeholder members of the community for the presentation of policy and program change recommendations made by the Utah Early Childhood Mental Health Working Group.

It will be utilized to present the policy and program recommendations made by the Utah Early Childhood Mental Health Working Group. The working group is a cross-sector group of leaders and key stakeholders which focused its expertise and energy throughout 2021 on addressing system-level change to further strengthen early childhood mental health in Utah. The working group’s purpose was to understand, prioritize, and propose solutions to the issues identified in the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute study, Early Childhood Mental Health in Utah. The recommendations made by the working group are intended to guide policy and program decisions and align related and/or new efforts throughout the state.
