On the heels of announcing the precautions they're taking to prevent the spread of the virus, 5 resorts announced they are suspending operations until further notice or closing for the season.
Alta, Deer Valley, Solitude, and Park City will not open on Sunday, March 15, and will remain closed until further notice.
Eagle Point near Beaver will close March 15 for an abrupt end to the season.
As of 7:30 p.m. Saturday evening, March 14, the other resorts websites say they are taking extra precautions by suspending or altering some operations, but they will remain open. But that could change at any moment. If you plan to ski, check that resort's website before you go.
Those remaining open as of this writing are: Snowbird, Brighton, Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, Nordic Valley, Brian Head, Beaver Mtn, Cherry Peak, and Sundance.
