Hundreds of hot air balloon enthusiasts attended the inaugural Utah Hot Air Balloon Palooza, held Sept. 20-23 at Cottonwood High School. Each of the three mornings, the community witnessed balloons inflating and launching from the fields of the high school. Patrons also could take a free 40-foot tethered ride Friday and Saturday mornings. Saturday evening featured a balloon glow. The event was sponsored by the Murray Chamber of Commerce. λ
