Bees yes, chickens no in Murray

The Murray city council took a look at two ordinances on Oct. 18 that would allow residents on low-density residential properties to keep chickens and bees. The ordinance allowing bee keeping passed. But the council was swayed by residents concerned about chicken keeping, and chose not to pass that ordinance.
