Amphitheater remodel takes priority

Renovations began on the Murray Park Amphitheater the week of Oct. 24. The theater hasn’t seen any improvements since its original construction in 1985. Unfortunately, the lowest bid ended up being $400,000 higher than the City’s original $2.2 million estimate. In order to free up space in the Budget, several capital improvement projects needed to be delayed.
